A Revival For Change: Faithful Democracy Week of Action is an effort to amplify the urgency of this critical moment to protect our democracy and voting rights and ensure that the Senate passes the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. The goal of this week of action is to restore hope and ignite a revival of faith in our communities as we continue to push for the passage of critical legislation that counteract voter suppression laws across the country.

Monday, December 6Calling in for Democracy Day
Call your senators today and urge them to pass the Freedom to Vote Act before leaving for recess. Congress must pass the Freedom to Vote Act, landmark legislation that will protect our right to vote, ending partisan gerrymandering, and decreasing the power of big moneyed special interests. If we are ever going to see progress on the issues we care about, we must have a democracy that responds to the needs and priorities of voters – not wealthy donors and corporate interests.
You can reach your Senators at 1-888-885-1748.
Tuesday, December 7#FaithInDemocracy Twitter TownHall

Right now, Congress has a crucial role to play in passing the Freedom to Vote Act and prioritize a democracy that affirms the rights and dignity of all people. As people of faith we can raise our voices for freedom.

Thursday, December 9Day of Prayer and Fasting for Democracy!
Join people of faith in a day of prayer and fasting for federal law-makers to pass legislation that protects voting rights and our democracy. After months of advocacy, people of faith are still pushing for Congress to protect our democracy through federal legislation. In addition to continued pressure and actions, we are seeking divine intervention to move our legislators to action so that we can begin to restore a functional government that truly represents the people.
