Faith Letter to Secretary Mayorkas

Twenty-five faith-based organizations are calling on Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to end programs and practices that entangle local law enforcement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In a letter sent to the office of Secretary Mayorkas, faith groups are asking DHS to recognize the harm caused when ICE requests local law enforcement agencies to engage in federal immigration enforcement.
