Rev. Tuhina Verma Rasche (she/her) is a second-generation South Asian American raised in a devout Hindu household. She is an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She has served in multiple capacities within her denomination, including parish pastor, community organizing trainer, grassroots organizer, in pastoral partnership with the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, and a digital curator. Tuhina has also been involved in multifaith work with Arts, Religion, Culture: A Society for Theopoetics as a young adult coordinator and as a senior research associate with The Aspen Institute’s Religion & Society Program. She’s excited to join Faith in Public Life as the Theologian in Residence. In her spare time, Tuhina enjoys reading, time with her family, and eating donuts.
