Apryl Alston (she/her/hers) is the Grants Manager at Faith in Public Life. In this role, she manages grants including proposal and report writing, systems-based grant tracking, foundation relationship management, and identifying and evaluating new foundation funding opportunities. Apryl was born and raised in New York, and currently resides in the DC Metropolitan area. A graduate of Hampton University, Apryl Alston has worked as a grant writer for a number of charitable organizations. She has an exceptional history of successfully getting funds for these organizations. As an English adjunct professor and business communications instructor, she has also worked in the capacity of facilitating lesson plans and as a grants associate and development manager, she has drafted, reviewed, and submitted proposals that have won awards. In her free time she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, skiing, spending time with friends and family, and trying new foods.
