Wisconsin Faith Leaders Urge Lawmakers to Support Humane Immigration Reform
Faith leaders call on lawmakers to build bridges not walls on heels of one-year anniversary of Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S.-Mexico border
MADISON, WI – On Sunday, February 19th, a diverse and prominent group of interfaith clergy will hold a prayer vigil to pressure Congressional leaders to overturn President Trump’s executive orders on immigration and to protect immigrant and refugee families.
Faith and community leaders will come together at the Wisconsin State Capitol Rotunda to send a powerful message in defense of immigrants and refugees.
