Tallahassee Faith Community to Kickoff PRIDEFEST with Interfaith Service Affirming LGBTQ Equality

Tallahassee, Florida — On Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m., Florida congregations and faith leaders across faith traditions will kick off Tallahassee’s PRIDEFEST Pride in the Plaza event with an interfaith worship service to show support for LGBTQ community members. Victims of the Pulse Massacre and other violent acts will remembered and acts of violence will be condemned.

Tallahassee faith leaders will share powerful stories and call for all Floridians to treat others as they wish to be treated, including a call on lawmakers to pass the Competitive Workforce Act and on Gov. DeSantis to pass an executive order covering state employees.

Service begins at 7:00 p.m. ET
