Press Conference: GA Clergy Urge Early Voting on Official Start Date
Atlanta, GA — On Monday, Oct. 17th, a prominent coalition of interfaith clergy in partnership with the New Georgia Project, a non-profit organization focused on voter mobilization, will hold a press conference urging all Georgia voters, especially those from communities of color, to vote early in the 2016 election. Clergy and other well-known city leaders will urge residents to utilize early voting in order to avoid long lines at urban polling precincts on Election Day.
