National Faith Leader on Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson

Washington, DC – Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has been confirmed to the United States Supreme Court.

“People of faith should rejoice at the historic confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the highest court in the nation. Across the country, our freedom to vote, access to reproductive care and equality under the law are under attack—and in some cases, hanging by a thread. Judge Jackson’s exceptional record shows that when she is sworn in as the 104th Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court she will defend and uphold these freedoms. Her confirmation is a long overdue step toward a Supreme Court that will honor and protect the dignity of all.”
