National Faith Leader Condemns Muslim Ban Expansion
Washington, D.C. — President Trump’s Muslim ban will expand in scope to include six additional countries with visa restrictions.
Rev. Jennifer Butler, CEO, Faith in Public Life (Washington, D.C.):
“As a pastor, I hold our country’s core values of equality and religious freedom dear. This expansion of the Muslim ban is a cruel attack on religious freedom and a grotesque appeal to white nationalism and Islamophobia. President Trump must repeal and repent of this unjust policy.”
