Milwaukee Multi-faith Coalition to Fight Back Against White Christian Nationalism

Rabbi Bonnie Margulis, Executive Director, Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice,

“In these days when extremist views are dominating the airways and reaching into the highest levels of society, including our government, it is imperative that people of all faiths join together to meet hate with love, to embrace and celebrate diversity, and to work together to create the Beloved Community that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned.”

Rev. Butler and Rabbi Margulis available to speak to media before and after events

Waukesha and Brookfield, WI – On Sunday, February 5 and Monday, February 6, First Baptist Church of Waukesha and Unitarian Universalist Church West in Brookfield will host the Rev. Jennifer Butler, Founder in Residence of Faith in Public Life and author of Who Stole My Bible? for two stops on her Faith in Democracy Tour.

On February 5 in Waukesha, Rev. Butler will be leading a workshop entitled “Talking to Friends and Loved Ones Caught up in Conspiracy Theories and Christian Nationalism.” In this workshop, Rev. Butler will share practices and tools to use when talking to loved ones who have been influenced by disinformation from QAnon and other conspiracy theories.
