Voting is sacred. Thus, we must unite in the fight to preserve access.
Jeanné Lewis, interim CEO at Faith in Public Life, wrote an op-ed in Black Catholic Messenger to call on people of faith to hold our leaders accountable to protect our democracy.
Faith leaders have always been at the forefront of fighting for and protecting voting rights, we cannot do this work alone. All who care about democracy must demand that the people in power uphold their moral duty of protecting our freedom at the polls.
