Faith Leaders Support Edith Espinal’s Teenage Son as ICE Contractor Makes Home Visit​

Columbus, Ohio — On Wednesday, October 11th at 7 a.m., community and faith leaders will gather at the Espinal home to provide a supportive and faithful presence as 19 year-old Brandow has a scheduled home visit from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) contractor. Since targeting Brandow’s mother, Edith, for deportation, ICE has intensified their monitoring of Brandow even though his immigration court appearance is not scheduled until 2020. Edith Espinal remains in sanctuary at Columbus Mennonite Church to avoid deportation and keep her family together.​
