FAITH LEADERS HOLD PRAYER VIGIL FOR EDITH ESPINAL AS SHE LEAVES SANCTUARY, CHECKS IN WITH ICE OFFICIALS
The mother of three will meet with officials at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office for the first time since leaving sanctuary in February
Columbus, OH — On Tuesday, June 15th at 9:30 a.m. Edith Espinal will gather with faith and city leaders and community supporters before meeting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers for the first time since leaving sanctuary in February.
Following a press conference, supporters will gather for a prayer of sending as Edith and a small group of allies will enter the local ICE field office while Edith’s community of support stands vigil.
