Faith Leaders Call on VA Voters to Participate in Early Voting to Boost Voter Turnout in 2016 Election
Newport News, VA — On Monday, Oct. 17th, a group of prominent clergy will hold a press conference urging all Virginia voters, especially those from communities of color, to vote early in the 2016 election. Clergy and other community leaders will urge residents to seize early voting opportunities to avoid long lines at urban polling precincts on Election Day.
