Detroit Faith Leaders and Advocates Urge Congress to Stop Detaining Immigrant Families
Detroit, MI – On Friday, September 28th at 3:45 p.m., a diverse and prominent group of faith leaders and advocates will hold a prayer vigil to pressure members of Congress to immediately stop the immoral detention of immigrant children and families and deportations of community members.
As part of a series of actions happening all over the country this week, faith and community leaders will come together at Clark Park, Southeast corner of Clark Avenue and Vernor Highway, to send a powerful message in defense of immigrant families.
