COALITION OF NEARLY TWO DOZEN ORGANIZATIONS HOLD RALLY AT STATEHOUSE TO OPPOSE ANTI-PROTEST AND ANTI-DEMOCRACY BILLS
Faith leaders and community advocates meet at the Statehouse to educate legislators on why anti-protest and anti-democracy bills are bad for Ohioans.
Columbus, OH — On Wednesday, September 22nd at 1:00 p.m., a coalition of nearly two dozen organizations (listed below) will gather for a rally on the West steps of the Statehouse. Faith leaders, community advocates and musicians will highlight the fact that a healthy democracy makes room for protest and offers robust access to voters.
During the day, voters from around the state will meet with their representatives and staff. They will be discussing the following bills: HB 22, HB 109, HB 294, SB 16, and SB 41.
