My guiding principle when it comes to speaking out around elections is Matthew 10:16: “See, I am sending you out like sheep into the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” As Christians, we are called to involve ourselves in the political process while guarding ourselves from the dangers of moral compromise.
