Cleveland Faith and Community Leaders Remember the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on 50th Anniversary of His Assassination
CLEVELAND, OH — On Wednesday, April 4th, at 7:00 p.m., faith and community leaders will hold a special service commemorating the 50th anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s assassination.
Pastor Jerome Hurst of Southeast Seventh-day Adventist Church says, “Fifty years later we as a nation are still struggling with many of the ills of Dr. King’s day. This service is designed to celebrate the life of Dr. King by equipping people to respond to the many issues we encounter in our communities and throughout this nation.”
