Prominent Clergy Rebuke Trump’s Violent, Sexist and Racist Rhetoric, Say Christianity Broader than Religious Right

New York, N.Y. — On Tuesday, June 21st at 10:00 AM, a prominent group of clergy will gather for a press conference at the Marriott Marquis in New York City to rebuke Donald Trump’s vitriolic, immoral rhetoric just ahead of his meeting with a group of conservative evangelical leaders in hopes of garnering their endorsement.

Pastors speaking at the press conference will highlight the justice issues and moral agenda at the heart of their faith communities in this election year, and call on Trump to honor these priorities.
