NC Faith Leaders to Call on Sen. Thom Tillis to Defund ICE, Protect Our Immigrant Neighbors

Charlotte, N.C. — On Thursday, August 15th at 2 p.m., faith and community leaders will call on Sen. Thom Tillis to defund defund agencies such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) that are terrorizing our immigrant neighbors through detention and deportation, and to protect immigrant families in the aftermath of an anti-immigrant mass shooting that claimed the lives of 22 people in El Paso.
