Columbus Clergy to Accompany Brandow Espinal to ICE Check-in
Columbus, Ohio — On Monday, April 9th at 9:30 a.m., faith and community leaders will accompany Brandow Espinal to his Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) check-in.
Brandow is the son of Edith Espinal who took sanctuary at Columbus Mennonite Church to avoid deportation and keep her family together. Brandow is under increased attack from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Brandow was recently forced to attend weekly ICE check-ins though his immigration court date isn’t until 2020. This will be his first check-in in 6 months.
