Lauren D. Green is Senior Director of Communications and comes to Faith in Public Life with a background in strategic communications, earned media strategy, and press relations. Originally from Mesquite, TX, she graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in Political Science, and went on to earn an M.A.  in Political Communications at American University. 

As a person of faith motivated by the desire to make the world a better place, Lauren has worked for and with key Democratic leaders like Stacey Abrams and Aruna Miller, and mission-based nonprofits like Fair Count and Kairos Center for Rights, Religions, and Social Justice. She lives in Washington, D.C. as a committed plant mom, sweet tea drinker, and Beyonce fan.
