Whitney Murray Brown
Women of Faith Director
Whitney Murray Brown is excited to join Faith in Public Life as Campaign Director for the Women of Faith program. A natural coalition builder, organizer, and strategist, she has spent nearly a decade working to help women and organizations tell their stories, create impactful strategies, and build broad coalitions to further their impact for good.
She most recently worked for Elizabeth Warren for President, where she organized African American communities. Prior to that she worked with the Florida Democratic Party with a focus on the 2018 gubernatorial race. A proud alumna of Florida A&M University, Whitney holds a degree in political silence. She is a former People for the American Way Young People For Fellow and participant in the Student Leadership Project at Fuller Theological Seminary.
An active member of the Jacksonville community, Whitney serves on the Board of Directors for Central Jacksonville Young Life, volunteers with local nonprofits and on countless progressive campaigns. When not serving women and organizing around social justice issues, Whitney enjoys travel, showing southern hospitality by entertaining friends and strangers alike and cheering on the FAMU Rattlers with her husband and son in sunny North Florida.
