Tokia Day is the Interim Director of Operations at Faith in Public Life (FPL). She provides financial oversight ensuring that FPL is financially prudent, strategic and in compliance with standards set by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulating bodies. She also serves as the point of contact for billing and contract management. Tokia’s areas of focus are: financial management and reporting, compliance, operations administration and contract management.
Prior to joining FPL, Tokia worked in the investment, banking, and healthcare fields and has over 15 years of finance and operations experience. She also has experience in nonprofit and human resource management. Tokia earned a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University and a BS and MBA from Morgan State University. She is a Licensed Life & Health Insurance Professional.
