VP of Communications and Digital Strategy
A proven writer, videographer and communications strategist, Michelle Nealy serves as Vice President of Communications and Digital Strategy at Faith in Public Life. Formerly a senior communications associate for the NAACP, Michelle has worked tirelessly to advance the cause of freedom, justice and equality in the areas of voting rights, health, criminal justice reform, and education in underserved communities throughout the United States. Previously a reporter for the Associated Press, Michelle has written stories chronicling some of the most important issues of the 21st century, including immigration, gun violence, gun control, death penalty disparities and education inequality. Her work has been featured in newspapers such as The Washington Post and The Times Picayune. In her spare time, Michelle works to ensure that all students, especially those from low-income communities, have access to a high quality college education. She believes that household incomes should not dictate academic outcomes.
