Kelsey Herbert serves as the Campaigns Director for Faith in Public Life (FPL). Kelsey coordinates FPL’s immigration work and Latino civic engagement program. Prior to joining FPL, Kelsey worked for the Christian Reformed Church Office of Social Justice in Grand Rapids, MI organizing congregations to advocate for immigrant rights. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Hope College in Holland, MI in 2014. She is passionate about cultivating intergenerational gatherings on spirituality, community, and justice. Originally from Connecticut, but with a strong affinity for Michigan summers, Kelsey is excited to be in D.C. with FPL to activate faith communities to speak out for justice.
