Katrina L. Rogers

Katrina has a background as a communications and political consultant specializing in promoting radical social change. Her professional commitment is to work with progressive causes, campaigns, and organizations focused on fighting for those historically and systematically pushed to the margin.

She has worked on issues including: reproductive justice, criminal justice reform, healthcare reform, environmental justice, livable wages, affordable housing, political and voter education, ending cash bail and the criminalization of poverty.

The Spelman College graduate and Shreveport, Louisiana, native has worked on electoral and legislative campaigns and is passionate about using language to normalize progress. Rogers uses her experience as a communicator to help shift the narrative regarding systems of oppression.

Rogers has served in positions of leadership with BYP100, the Radical Communicators Network, Young Democrats of America, New Leaders Council, Truman National Security Project and the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. In 2020, she worked as the Campaign Manager for Louisiana for Personal Freedoms, an effort to support abortion access in Louisiana.

She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the National Network of Abortion Funds, serves as an Adjunct Professor with the James Lawson Institute, and acts as a Coach with ReFrame Academy.
