Special Projects Coordinator
Chynnah McFadden came to Faith in Public Life in 2019 after a 12-month Catholic Volunteer service program with the Franciscan Volunteer Ministries in Silver Spring, MD. She has a passion for advocacy work and has spent the last decade cultivating her skills as a creative project manager and facilitator in the NGO world. As an organizer and bridge builder, Chynnah is most excited about evolving and advancing DEIA practices in her professional roles and has lent her skills to volunteer-based political education and action campaigns with Black Youth Project 100, Occupation Free DC, Stop Line-3, and Jewish Voice for Peace in Washington, DC.
Prior to moving to the DMV, Chynnah served as an advocate for the houseless community in Tampa Bay, where she focused on collaborative resource management and outreach programs with Food Not Bombs, The Tampa Eden Project and The Well Tampa. She enjoys training her ACD Aries, photography and distance running in her free time.
