Ann is originally from Nigeria, where her passion for social justice work began early. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Ann completed a year of service with the Franciscan Community Volunteer program in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. As a volunteer, she worked with at-risk youth at a residential mental health facility where she taught nonviolent conflict resolution skills. Following her year of service, Ann joined Search for Common Ground, where she spent almost three years sharpening her fundraising and relationship-building skills.
As someone for whom faith and activism are both important, she’s glad to be at Faith in Public Life where the two values are essential parts of the organization’s mission. When she’s not working, Ann enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, going to Sofar concerts, and brunching.
