Faith, Community Leaders Mark 2-Year Anniversary of Edith Espinal’s Stay in Sanctuary with Documentary Screening

 

Columbus, OH --  On Wednesday, October 2nd at 6 p.m., faith leaders will stand in solidarity with immigrant mother, Edith Espinal, who has been living in sanctuary at the Columbus Mennonite Church for the past two years. Espinal recently filed a stay of removal and was denied. U.S. Rep. Joyce Beatty introduced a bill to offer Espinal deportation relief. 

 

Following a press conference, there will be a viewing of a documentary that follows the life of Espinal.
