Our faith teaches us that everyone is worthy of respect and equal treatment under the law, regardless of who they are or who they love. That is why we are working across the nation to ensure that faith doesn't become and excuse to discriminate.

In Florida, it is legal to fire or deny services to members of the LGBTQ community. Faithful Florida was able to win a human rights ordinance (HRO) in Jacksonville including LGBTQ protections into the city's human rights laws. Now we are fighting to extend these protections to all Florida.

The U.S. Supreme Court is currently deciding a case to determine if businesses have the right to discriminate based on sexual orientation. On Tuesday, Dec 5th, we joined our clergy joined the ACLU and dozens of other civil and religious organizations to say that discrimination has no home in our country or our faith.

My Faith Does not Discriminate

People often try to use religious freedom as a code word for discrimination. We believe that faith gives us the power to include - not discriminate against other people. Join our movement to say: "My Faith Does not Discriminate."
