Campaign message on billboards in Springfield aims to quell anti-immigrant rhetoric

The Springfield News-Sun covers Faith in Public Life’s “Love Your Neighbor” campaign to counter politically violent anti-immigrant rhetoric in Springfield, OH. The initiative is a partnership between Faith in Public Life, the League of Women Voters of Ohio and the Ohio Council of Churches.

“Hate has no place in Springfield.” says Urban Light Ministries Pastor Eli Williams. “We are called faith leaders to love and stand with our neighbors. The Haitian community is an integral part of Springfield, and we stand united with them.”
