Jacksonville Clergy Gather for Morning Prayer Vigil in the Wake of Orlando Massacre

Jacksonville, FL -- At least 50 people were killed and more than 50 others wounded after a gunman opened fire and took hostages at a club in Orlando, Florida, early Sunday morning. In light of this tragedy, Rev. Bruce Jones, pastor of Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, will host a prayer vigil at Southside UMC where Jacksonville faith leaders and community members will gather to support the Orlando community still, reeling from Sunday’s tragic attack.

Members of Florida Clergy United, a prominent coalition of multi-denominational faith leaders, will be available for interviews immediately following the vigil.
