FL Clergy Join State Lawmakers in Push for Competitive Workforce Act


TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- On Thursday, November 9th at 11 a.m., faith leaders and impacted LGBTQ citizens will stand with bill sponsors Sen. Darryl Rouson, 19th District, Rep. Rene Plasencia, 49th District and co-sponsors to voice their support for the Competitive Workforce Act.

Nearly 40% of Floridians live in cities without protections. The Competitive Workforce Act will protect people from being fired from their jobs, denied housing or denied basic accommodations simply because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
