FL Clergy Rally Outside of Senator Rubio’s Office to Pass a Clean Dream Act

ORLANDO, FL -- On Thursday, November 2nd at 1:30 p.m., interfaith clergy and community leaders will gather to call on Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson to pass a clean Dream Act before the end of the year.

When President Trump terminated the DACA program that protected 33,000 Florida Dreamers from deportation, he cruelly started a countdown clock on our immigrant brothers and sisters’ future. Congress must pass legislation by December 8th.

WHAT:
Rally to call on Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson to pass a clean Dream Act. Following the public show of support for Dreamers outside of Sen. Rubio’s office, faith leaders will hand-deliver a statement of support signed by Florida faith leaders from across the state.
