Interfaith Clergy Call for the Immediate

Resignation of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Friday, March 3rd, a diverse and prominent group of interfaith clergy and community leaders will hold a press conference outside of the Department of Justice to call for the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who misled the Senate during his confirmation hearings by failing to disclose contacts with the Russian Ambassador.

Clergy and community leaders are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign. Our democracy and justice system depends on truth, and we simply cannot have an Attorney General so willing to mislead and conceal.

WHERE: Robert F. Kennedy DOJ Building, corner of 9th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20530
