Local Church Hosts Mayoral Forum Where Top Candidates Discuss Housing, Poverty and More​

 

ATLANTA, GA -- On Thursday, October 19th, Trinity Presbyterian Church in partnership with Faith in Public Life hosted the Atlanta Mayoral Debate with 160 attendees. This primetime event featured nine candidates: Mary Norwood, Peter Aman, Michael Sterling, Kwanza Hall, Keisha Lance Bottoms, John Eaves and Cathy Woolard. The candidates discussed a variety of issues important to people of faith, including housing, criminal justice, gentrification and the city’s environment. Richard T. Griffiths, CNN’s longtime chief editor served as the moderator for this event.
