Rev. William G. Sinkford is the elected president of the Unitarian Universalist Association. As UUA President, Sinkford's commitment to justice has inspired him to lead the Association's efforts on behalf of ending the genocide in Darfur, lobbying for immigrant rights, and advocating concrete steps to reverse global warming, among many other causes. His personal ministry includes raising awareness of the realities of "linked oppressions" and educating Americans about the value of preserving religious liberties and honoring the cultural gifts of religious pluralism.
