The Rev. Chuck Currie, a United Church of Christ (UCC) ordained minister, is a pioneer of the progressive religious blogosphere. Currie has been recognized as one of the leading advocates for the homeless in Oregon and has spoken at conferences throughout the United States and Canada. He currently serves as the interim minister of Parkrose Community United Church of Christ in Portland and sits on the public policy committee of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. Rev. Currie studied political science at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and earned his Masters of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri.
