Dr. Nazir Khaja

Dr. Nazir Khaja, a distinguished medical doctor and professor at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), is known internationally as an American Muslim leader and peace activist and advocate. He has extensive background in Interfaith dialogue and is on the Board of several national inter-religious organizations. Dr. Khaja is Chairman of the Board of Islamic Information Services (IIS) in California, which produces and broadcasts “The American Muslim Hour”—a television program aired across the United States dealing with contemporary social and cultural issues within the framework of Islamic values.
