Liturgical and Political Progressive Bloggers to discuss Faith, Politics and Blogosphere!
WHAT: A conference for, by and about progressive faith bloggers. Bloggers will convene to meet in person to discuss faith, politics and the blogosphere.
WHEN: Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16, 2006
WHERE: Montclair State University Conference Center
WHY: Because faith and politics have the capacity to profoundly divide -- or profoundly connect -- the progressive Faith BlogCon is a chance for progressive bloggers of faith to meet, talk and learn from collective wisdom. Reflecting the rich tapestry of diverse faith traditions, progressive bloggers of faith are united, by a shared commitment to progressive ideals, which flow from their respective faiths. This conference will build bridges between bloggers and ensure that the progressive religious blogosphere becomes an even more vibrant and impactful community.
WHO: Dozens of progressive bloggers of faith from diverse religious traditions, including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam.
