Faith In Public Life kept a close eye on the educational dialogue about the changing values debate at the Democratic convention in Denver, and as the Republican convention gets under way look to our blog for transcripts, video and commentary.

Tuesday's program in St. Paul included prayers led by Rabbi Ira Flax and Dr. Robert Certain, Wednesday's prayers come from Father Ed Reese and Rev. Eva Rodriguez, and on Thursday Pastor Dan Yeary and Archbishop Demetrios lead.

Faith panels at the convention include a discussion among Rev. Jim Wallis, Beliefnet editor Steven Waldman, and Dr. Richard Land about abortion and the party platforms. As the convention schedule shifts in response to Hurricane Gustav, we'll have updates on the latest faith events in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
