GOP: Let’s Go Back to the 60s
Unsurprisingly, the conservative Cut, Cap and Balance coalition has grown to include Republican legislators who are now sponsoring an amendment to put these radical, dangerous policy ideas into law.
The proposal would limit federal spending to an arbitrary 18% of GDP, levels equivalent to what the United States spent in 1966.
